This quote is so powerful and great advice during hard negotiations: "Show them the cost. Let them make the call."

I like it too, Rafa. Psychologically this also shifts them to see the issue with you vs against you.

What you wrote, reminded me of a statement from an old coach of mine: Don't lead with "Yes, but..." - lead with "Yes, and...".

I like that framing as well. I also say that don’t use “but” use and like you did “Yes and …”
