This is far from mediocrity. This post worth-saving and revisiting to keep us awakened. Seriously, this has become honest truth to keep inner journey in check.
This line: "They say the apple never falls far from the tree." sums up everything. It means today "an employee" is suffering, tomorrow "a son" will suffer. A poison of unhealed pain can penetrate in family - if it's not healed.
Every line is offering something. I wish you very best of luck, Taha Hussain.
Sadly, contrary to the belief of the main character, he didn't check all the boxes. You can sense his 'reactive-ness', his biases either against the jerk or in favour of his team, him not listening or paying attention to the causes of friction, not diving deep into team dynamics and finally, not showing up as the leader who could help the new manager, which could have established him as the trusted leader.
We all have these stories, either learned or earned. Thank you for sharing it with lessons, @Taha!
You are right but learning how to process emotions shouldn't be just restricted to leaders or decision-makers. We all humans need to embrace this new awakening. What a shame to us - we are realizing it very late. I mean when I talk about emotional resilience or mental health, my peers raise eyebrows and bite their lips as if I am talking about something alien to this world.
C'mon guys ! We are at the verge of breaking apart. People are seriously underestimating emotions and power of emotions.
Well, Mr. Taha Hussain - I want to ask a question:
"Did you experience a thing when non-technical guy i.e., "Content Writer" transitioned into technical thing i.e., "Data Analysis" and outdid his peers?"
I want to know those stories from you.
You're doing phenomenal work. I wish I could come handy to you. I add my realistic experience with clarity in your comments on LinkedIn to make your LI posts relatable for everybody not just tech people.
May Allah bless with ease of life - Ameen.
Well, If you need any help related to content thing - Don't look elsewhere; I'm all yours.

Thanks, Zahid. Learning how to process emotions creates leaders.
