My doctor didn’t sugarcoat it:
“Your right artery is 80% blocked, the middle one 50%, and the left—the 'Widowmaker'—is completely blocked. You’re a walking miracle.”
Three weeks later, I woke up from open-heart surgery, tubes everywhere, tears streaming down my face.
I’d been given a second chance.
This near-death experience forced me to confront what I’d ignored for years: my health, my family, and my peace of mind.
I’d been so consumed by personal struggles that I didn’t see the slow collapse happening in my life.
The Roseto Effect: A Wake-Up Call
Desperate for answers, I came across a study that shook me: the Roseto Effect.
It looked at Italian immigrants in Pennsylvania who had staggeringly low rates of heart disease despite unhealthy lifestyles.
They smoked, drank, ate fried foods, and worked in harsh conditions. Yet, they lived long, happy lives.
No heart attacks. No suicides. No crime.
The secret? Their close-knit community.
Families lived together, neighbors supported each other, and every evening felt like a celebration. They were never alone.
Their stress levels were almost nonexistent.
This was my wake-up call. I’d lost my connection to the people who mattered most.
After my divorce, I constantly worried about my kids, who lived far away in Toronto. No matter how often I visited, it wasn’t the same as being there for their everyday moments.
I realized I was carrying unspoken fears:
Were they safe?
How would the divorce affect them?
How could I help them reach their full potential?
These fears isolated me. I’d been trying to push through them alone, but they were only growing louder.
The Roseto study taught me the value of rebuilding connection and community—not just for survival, but for peace of mind.
Turning Crisis Into Purpose
In 2022, I left my seven-figure career to start Taha’s Method—a mission to help people overcome their fears, unlock their potential, and build fulfilling lives.
My theory is simple:
If I can help anyone become successful, I can definitely help my children.
Today, I’ve guided over 200 people to level up their skills, confront their fears, and break through their limiting beliefs.
One of the most common fears I see? Waiting.
Waiting for the “right time” to make a change. Waiting until life forces you to act.
But the truth is, there’s no perfect time—just the time you have now.
Don’t Wait for Life to Wake You Up
My near-death experience wasn’t just a warning; it was a gift.
It gave me clarity. It forced me to stop ignoring what really matters: my health, my family, and my purpose.
What about you?
What’s the fear you’ve been avoiding?
What’s the dream you keep putting off?
You don’t need a second chance to start over—you just need to decide.
Start today.
P.S. This is the heart of what I teach in Taha’s Method. If you’re ready to confront your fears and unlock your potential, let’s take the first step together.
